An interesting video from two veterinary researchers on elephant behavior. Elephants being one of my favorite animals, I find this kind of thing especially interesting. They may get a little "out there" (as any cognitive researchers are wont to do by nature) when they talk about applying what has been observed in elephant groups to the interaction of human groups, but they do have a point. In some cases, I think it is applicable to apply what we see in the interaction of intelligent species that live in complex social groups to how we behave to each other.
